Saddle up!

For the entire time I have been riding my bike, I start losing circulation and going numb after sitting in the saddle after about 20 miles. Needless to say it has not been pleasant. In fact, it actually feels pretty awful. But that is all in the past now. I tried a demo saddle from Bloomington Cycle and Fitness this weekend and was able to ride 54 miles without any problem!

That ride told me I needed to be sitting on that saddle EVERY ride. Easy sale for BCF, and I am happy to spend the money for better riding.

There she is: The ROMIN EVO COMP GEL. And even though it is made by Specialized, I am pretty sure that “S” is for Steve!

Now I am stoked to get some miles in. We’ll see how it holds up this weekend when I take it out on the Rev 3 half Wisconsin Dells course. One of my major limiters has been lifted. It’s go time! Saddle up!
